Overview: To keep a record of issues between projects, the syncSourceID attribute is automatically generated to maintain a link between the source and destination. This ID will be identical in both projects.

Instructions: In both your Source and Destination projects, navigate to the Issue Type settings and add a new custom attribute named syncSourceID to every issue type (or subtype) that you plan to sync. Ensure the attribute is set to Text or String, then save your changes. The system will automatically generate the syncSourceID during the sync process—no further action is required.

Important: This attribute must be created and assigned in both projects before syncing can occur.
